Brief and Motion Drafting
William J. Kovatch, Jr. spent almost eight years with the Federal Government litigating complex international trade cases. He has written briefs and motions that have been filed with U.S. courts as well as NAFTA binational panels. He has also drafted major portions of written submissions filed with WTO dispute settlement panels and the Appellate Body.
Prior to working for the Federal Government, Bill spent time in private practice, and served as a judicial law clerk for the D.C. Court of Appeals. He has written briefs and motions on various topics such as workers’ compensation, criminal law, medical malpractice, zoning law, torts and probate.
